When I just typed August the 13th I kind of threw up a little bit. What?!? Where did the summer go?
Ah well.
On the bright side, kids are going back to school which means we can do more sewing (hypothetically at least, right?).
To celebrate, lets give something wonderful away!
This is Mary Ellen’s Best Press, an alternative to starch. We love starching our fabrics before we begin quilting so that they are easier to work with. If you don’t already use starch this is a great product to start with!
So we are giving this away to one lucky quilter!
All you have to do to enter is answer the question:
How many sewing projects do you have going at a time?
As always, for an extra entry just like us on facebook and leave a comment here saying you are a fan!
Enter before midnight on August 13th to be entered.
I currently have the “Simplify” pillow and 2 Under a Garden Moon Nativities! Christmas is coming!
I already like you on Facebook!
Three, four, five, six ? I always have more than one thing going at one time. It’s keeps me from getting bored.
I already like you on Facebook ! Thanks for the chance!
I have 2-3 projects going at a time. Right now I am buried in them and have decided to finish a few before I start any more.
I am a fan as well.
Lots! I have quilts that have been unfinished for 10 years. I love to start new projects. I dislike doing borders. I do finish stuff but sometimes I have to really talk myself into it.
Too many! Right now, I have 4 or 5, and probably a few more if you count abandoned projects…
I follow you on facebook
I usually have at least three projects that I am working on at a time.. at least! 😉 Thanks for the chance to win! I’ve been wanting to try Mary Ellen’s Best Press– it sounds great!!
I have 1-3 projects going at any given time. Saturday Sampler, Farmer in the Dell, and usually some sort of misc project.
I usually have about 2 projects going, but right now is extra-crazy. I can’t even count them all. Maybe 5. Or 6. Or maybe more. I’d better get them finished up!
I love you guys!!!!
Already liked you and I have 7 projects going on.
Too ,many to count:) It is the journey!
Too many!,6 quilts, 5 cross stitch 4 redwork:15
Oh my, let me see… I think I have about eleven going right now. But that doesn’t include all the ‘gonna-makes’ that are in my closet. : )
I currently have 3 projects I am working on but I have had as many as 6 at once.
About 8, I think. It may be more if you count the 4 quilts I have to bind!
I currently have three sewing projects going! 🙂
I am also a fan on facebook!
I GENERALLY HAVE BETWEEN FOUR AND SIX. SATURDAY SAMPLER, GRANDCHILD QUILT, BIRTHDAY QUILT FOR FAMILY AND ONE FOR ME.
right now I have 3 large (queen) quilts, 2 throws, a ‘sofa scarf’, and 2 or maybe 3 wall hangings started. some need quilting, some need sewing, some need binding, and all need more time, etc. then there is the skirt I cut out 2 months ago….if only I could stay home and get paid….L
I have four projects going right now.
Oh, I’ll admit to a dozen! Thanks for the giveaway.
Right now – over twenty.

HELLO! I USUALLY HAVE 3 OR 4, ONE OF HAND WORK FOR THE EVENINGS IN FRONT OF THE TV AND MORE IN THE SEWING AREA. I MAKE A LOT OF CHARITY QUILTS, SO I ALWAYS HAVE ONE IN THE MAKING!
HAPPY STITCHING TO YOU!
Well I was working on I think three this week alone but I finished one yesterday!! Yay!!! Plus I could not tell you how many I have in boxes waiting to be finished, plus I have a few quilt tops waiting to be quilted. SO I guess I have several!!! lol Thanks for the chance.
I’m already a follower on facebook!!!
Oh my goodness that would make life easier to starch!! I am currently working on our family queen size quilt, baby quilt(baby coming in a couple weeks), Hmm should I include those that are on my “To start anyday” list….!!!
Didn’t know you where on facebook, but no worries just added!!!
Hmm 5-6. All at different stages. I do finish projects. Ok this weekend I will tackle some.
I have 4 quilts I am currently working on plus 2 that need quilting and binding. Then I have some smaller wall hangings to make for the holidays. Also Christmas gifts to make that I have the fabric for if you want to count them, so I am not sure how many there really are. I just need time to work on them more often. lol
I have already liked you… 🙂
More than I want to admit.
I have 7 in various stages of production.
I love to do piecing but when it comes to putting the quilt together, I loose interest.
I need to repent.
I have at least 10 projects goi.g from quilting to knitting. I am a great starter and a mediocre finisher . Lol
Too many! I usually always have at least 3 sewing projects…and a few non-sewing ones as well 🙂
At least five unless you count the ones I have set aside for a short time.
I currently have 4 quilts going, 1 wall hanging, 1 rug hooking project. 2 of quilts are in the hand quilting stage, 1 quilt in the piecing stage and 1 quilt top pieced but nothing else same for the wall hanging.
But it will all get done.. LOL
Thanks for a chance at the give away – Bess Press
I always have several projects going. What fun is it to only have 1 at a time 🙂
I have 5 projects going on right now! I did not even know was the many, lol!
“Liked” you on Facebook…and let’s see….I have too many sewing projects going on right now to count! 🙂

Sorry for the comment above.
I should say:
I have already liked AQ on FB.

thanks for the opportunity i think i have ten projects currently up and in action right now
I have 5 current projects plus many more waiting in the wings. I would feel lost if I didn’t have a big pile of fabrics waiting to be made into something.
I have to many and I was determined to get most of them finished before returning to school. It’s not going to happen, but I am so close to being done with my Halloween Saturday Sampler and that’s the most important one for me!!!
at least a dozen
Counting just makes me dizzy. Because you know that if anyone know you know how to sew, they have a basket of items that need to be fixed. With school getting ready to start, that always mean new project and more. Then when I look at the blogs and that mean more things I want to try.
I have many going on right now.
I have the ones that are almost finished, ones that are nearly finished, some barely started, some started a while ago and of course my 2 year supply just in case.
I am also a facebook follower.
