I have been working hard to get the calendar all updated and I think we are there!

It should be completely updated through April 2012 with classes, events, sales, and descriptions.

Here are some of the classes that are starting soon that you can sign up for now:

Farmer in the Dell Online BOM: Starts in March. Every month we will mail you the fabric and instructions for that month’s block. Cost: Sign up fee is $5. Each month will be $20, plus shipping. Call the shop for more info or to sign up.

Wool Appliqué– This 12-month BOM has four different quilt options for you to choose from. A Christmas quilt, Fall, Springtime and Folk Art. All four quilts are wool appliqué on cotton backgrounds. We have a photo of all four of these quilts in the shop. Each month you will pay $26 and get a kit for at least one of the blocks. The border fabrics are also included in this cost. It won’t matter which quilt you want to make, since the techniques are so similar for all four of the designs. We do need to know which quilt you want to do soon, so let us know. There is a $20 sign up fee for this class. If you pick up all 12 of your kits, throughout the year, you will receive a $20 gift certificate to use toward your backing fabric. Starts January 16th.

Sweet & Simple– This Block of the month is an appliqué quilt that will make you smile. Thirty, 12” blocks make up this really folk-art feeling quilt. We will provide kits for 2-3 blocks per month. The color palette will be taken from 1800’s reproduction fabrics. There are several blocks that have embroidery details. You will be adjusting a few of the patterns to reflect your own family, life etc. A $20 sign-up fee is required and will be refunded to you in a gift certificate to be used toward your backing if you pick up all 12 months of kits. We will be really focusing on appliqué technique. If you have always wanted to perfect your appliqué skills, then this is the class for you! Starts January 23rd.
