Wednesday night was our 2011 Garden Party. There were so many beautiful quilts – I think I got a picture of every single one! So sit back, relax, and pretend you were there:
This style of star is called the Evening Star quilt block:
These next quilts are mostly custom designs (or I just don’t know the name of theĀ patterns!)
Churndash variation pattern:
This beautiful pattern is called Dresden Plate. It is one of my favorites.
These next quilts all incorporate a pinwheel pattern:
Close up of the sail boat applique border on the above quilt:
Can you believe how adorable this clothesline quilt is? Every little girls dream!
And then quilts who use simple squares in their patterns, with beautiful effects:
Log Cabin Variation
And that is only about half!
Here’s the plan:
Tomorrow: the rest of the garden party
Monday: an exciting back-to-school gift, just for YOU! Be sure and check back to see what we have in store…
I came to the garden party and was blown away by the variety and amount of quilts on display. There were some amazing quilts to look at. It was a very fun atmosphere. Thanks so much for having it! I really want to get some quilts done now!
Thanks for posting these. I wasn’t able to attend and now I can see what I missed!
This was the first time I had been to the Garden Party. What a delight! So many beautiful quilts! I just couldn’t get enough. The ice cream treat was yummy. Thanks so much for such a fun evening. Looking forward to next year.
Do you know where I could find the pattern for the pinwheel/clothes on a line quilt? It is amazing!
That is one of my favorites too! Let me ask Amy if she remembers.
I found it! It is a book from Pine Mountain Design called Laundry Day. Search it online and you will find it.
