Busy Fingers
Begins March 10th 4-6 pm
This class combines English Paper Piecing with Hand Applique. You will make a sampler called Marmalade by Sue Daley. This is a 12 month class. The first class is from 4-6 but the next 11 classes will be from 4-5 every second Monday of the month. Starts February

Beginning Piecing
February 21 3-6pm is the first class
This 3 part class will teach you cutting, pressing, seam allowance, how to use rulers, as well as sewing several different basic quilt blocks. You will start sewing your blocks in class and will have homework to complete each week. Even if you have sewn before this is a great class where you will learn important piecing skills. Come into the shop prior (at least a few days before class) to choose the fabrics for your kit. A supply list will be provided upon signing up for the class. A sample of the quilt is hanging in the classroom. Remember that the first class will be a 3 hour class and the next 2 classes will only be 2 hours.

Jiffy Jelly Roll Race
April 30 2-5 pm
A hands on class where you will complete a quilt top in less than 2 hours. All you need is a Jelly Roll, scissors, and a sewing machine (or use ours).

Tiny Tuesday
February 11th 3-5 pm
Each monthly class will focus on different notions, tips, tricks and teaching of skills to master the art of “tiny.” We will even have a tiny treat. Any kits or supplies will be additional costs for a tiny price! Don’t be afraid to try this. You will learn fun and valuable skills. Class will be held the second Tuesday of each month from 3-5.

Stitching Society
First Thursday of each month 2-4 pm
This is a popular class that we have been asked to do again. Come to this year-long class and learn 61 embroidery stitches, get the patterns for 12 small projects, patterns for 180 different motifs and hear 12 interesting lessons. We focus on appliqueing and embellishing, using wool. Sewing supplies such as threads, background fabrics, and wool applique pieces are additional. All tuition must be paid at time of sign-up. Tuition includes motif patterns, stitch guides, 2 hexagon rulers, 12 recipes, 12 patterns and instruction. You won’t want to miss this class!

Hex and More
February 26th 4-6 pm
Learn to use the Hex and More ruler by Jaybird quilts. So many shapes in lots of sizes and patterns. Class focus is on learning to use new tools.

Hand Quilting
April 2 4-6 pm
Amy is going to show you how to hand quilt! We will supply a kit for you but you will need to bring a hoop or frame to help you as you stitch.

Intermediate Piecing
March 28 3-5pm is the first class
A new class to help refine skills previously learned but not perfected with lots of individual attention! We will be making a lap size quilt and learning new blocks each week. You will have homework assignments with prizes for those who finish them. This is a 6 week class and you will need to have your fabric picked out before class starts. we will be using a jelly roll and a layer cake for all of the blocks but you will also need to pick a border and sashing fabric.
Tuition: $60 plus supplies and pattern
