A few more things about Saturday Sampler:

– the finished blocks should measure 6 1/2″ square and 9 1/2″ square

– Here is a picture of the finished blocks (so you can know how to lay-out the colors)

A few pattern corrections:

Night & Noon block – bottom half of first page – writing is correct, add two lines on the drawing

Red – cut 2) 4 1/2” squares – cut TWICE diagonally to form 8 triangles. There was only one line drawn diagonally instead of 2, so please add more lines.

I didn’t like the paper piecing at first…but in the end I understood the reasoning and appreciated the help in getting the block so accurate.

When we use paper peicing, it would be helpful to sketch a picture of the finished block onto the instructions so those without computers would have something to go by.

I have learned many ways of paper piecing and Amy’s way has been the very best way for me. If you struggle at all with paper piecing Amy’s way is the best way to learn.
