Hopefully your kids are back in school and you are able to relax, read that book you have been waiting to read, finish that quilt that is sitting in your sewing room, and sip lemonade all day. If your days aren’t exactly going like that…you aren’t alone. But here is something that will cheer you up: a giveaway!

This month we are giving away one kit that includes everything you need to make this beautiful apron:

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment answering this question:

If you could have the blog do a tutorial for one thing, what would it be??

And as always, if you like us on Facebook leave a separate comment on this post saying you are a facebook fan for another entry!

Be sure to enter by Sep. 13th at midnight and good luck! You can’t have too many aprons…

And check back on the blog for some pictures and helpful tips for this month’s Saturday Sampler blocks!

I always enjoy seeing anything to do with free motion quilting. And any tips that help the process. It’s something I just haven’t been able to master yet. Thanks for the cute apron pattern giveaway.

Paper piecing. I’ve heard the term ‘paper piecing’ before, and it has struck fear in my heart. But a friend recently told me that it is really quite simple. So, I’d love to see if she’s right! : )

Paper Piecing would be a grand tutorial for me. I have done it a couple of times, always with someone holding my hand. . .but I would love a tutorial that had great step by step pictures and something that I could print for future reference.

Thanks for the giveaway, I am always in need of aprons.

A tutorial on how to cut and apply quilt bindings would be helpful. I’m always looking that up. Your tutorials are always so great and easy to follow. Thanks!

I have always wanted to make a cute apron, hope I win. I just did applique on pillows for the first time and would have loved a tutorial. I ended up using fabric glue and no stitching around the edges, not so cute but I don’t know how to do it.

I need a tutorial on how to find time to work on my projects, maybe something that shows how do laundry and quilt at the same time? I do think Sandy’s suggestion about choosing fabric would be helpful as well.
