I enjoy ‘hand’ work on week nights and crank up my sewing machine on the week ends for about 8 to 10 hours a week. I would love the applique goodies – thanks

Over 20 years ago I was introduced to sewing through, my home economics classes in high school. I loved it. I just started quilting about 5 years ago, but about the same time I started college, so quilting was put on the back burner. I graduated college a year and half ago, and have start back up ago. I try to put in about 2 hours a night on the week days and about 10 hours on the the week end. I have not yet learned to use applique in my quilting.

Wow, let’s see. I generally spend 2-4 hours a week sewing. It is more during the summer than the winter though, because my sewing room gets really cold!

Not as much as I would like. I am lucky to get even one hour a week in these days. If all was right with the world, I would sew a couple hours each day…

I sew or quilt about 3 or 4 hours in the evenings 6 days a week. l like feeling like I am doing something constructive while the TV is on :). Also I like that I can take applique work with me in the car or babysitting the grand kids.
I just started quilting in January and I love it.

Actual sewing time would be average 14 hours a week perhaps. I wish I could do more. There are so many things I would like to accomplish and become more profficient in.. hand applique is one of them. I try to do a little of everything, it is never boring and I have a lovely feeling of joy when I make something.
