Love the pattern, if I won I’d do it all in wool.
I have a Janome, basic model several years old and I love it. Only thing I wish it had is a buttonhole stitch so I could use it for applique.
I have an industrial straight stitch machine that I use for straight stitching (imagine that). It is my favorite machine and the one I use the most. I also have a Bernina 450 that I use for specialty stitches and quilting using the BSR. It does embroidery but I haven’t had the time to explore that much. I also have a Babylock sewing machine that I am going to let my granddaughters use when they are old enough to sew. I have a Babylock serger as well. Finally, I also inherited my grandmother’s Singer Featherweight that I use to take to classes and retreats. I love all my machines and wouldn’t trade any of them. With that said I am thinking about getting another machine and buying a long arm at the HMQS show in SLC this spring. I don’t want to quilt for other people so I’m trying to justify the cost of one and the space it will occupy. Still thinking about it!
I have an inexpensive Brother machine that I use for quilting. It is easy to use. I wouldn’t mind having an upgrade though. I also have a Viking #1 that needs to be fixed because it skips stitches.
I love my Bernina and would not upgrade it with anything that is currently on the market. My Bernina is solid and has held up to the tasks required of a professional seamstress and has required only tune-ups in the 20+ years I have owned Berninas
I have a Pfaff and I absolutely love it! Although one day I want a newer one.
Last year my husband suprised me with a new Janome machine and I LOVE IT! It was a huge upgrade from the basic Kenmore model I had. I would never go back now.
I have a Bernina. My mom and mother-in-law had Berninas, as do all my sisters. I bought one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas! I love it, and probably wouldn’t upgrade – unless someone gave me a brand-new one!
Oh, and I already “like” you on FB!
I have a Bernina Sewing Machine that is pretty old and pretty basic. It’s a great machine but I wouldn’t mind upgrading it sometime.
I have a Bernina 440QE, love it but would love an upgrade so I wouldn’t have to use a computer to embroider.
I have a 1950 Singer and I love it!
I am a follower on FB!
I have a brother and a singer. i would love very much to upgrade.
I have a Janome Memory Craft 3000. I love that it’s computerized but it’s about 11 years old so an upgrade would be SO, SO nice….*sigh*
I have a sewing/embroidery machine. It is an Ellegante BabyLock. I do love it. I can save a design from my computer onto a thumb drive and take that to my machine which has a USB so I can use it there. I don’t especially love the fact that it beeps at me and stops when it is running out of thread – so I have to press the OK button and continue sewing. It will sew 7 or 8 more stitches and beep again. That’s a bit aggravating – but otherwise – I love it.

I posted your site on my facebook status page 🙂
Love the folding sewing kit and the FQ are SO cute!
Organize – yes – it’s that time of the year when everyone thinks about losing weight and getting things organized… that is what I need to be doing! Both 🙂
Happy New Year!

I have a Bernina and love it! I also have a serger. Love your classes! I want instructions for your darling ric rack flowers!
I have a Bernina sewing machine that I love. It has worked well for me for newly 30 years!
I have four Singer sewing machines. One just for everyday use, one Quantum for machine embroidery, and I inherited my mother’s two Singer machines.
I have a Bernina 730 and do not want to change
I have a basic baby lock but would love a featherweight. Myne when i win the lottery.
My sewing machine is a Kenmore 19110 and I love it! However, I would also love to have a long arm quilter some day! 🙂 Thank you for the chance to win!!
I like you on Facebook! Thanks for the second entry!! By the way, the Farm Quilt on Facebook is SOOO cute!!! I’ll be checking it out, for sure! 🙂
I have a Bernina and I love it. It’s only about 5 yrs. old!
I just bought a Janome Horizen 7700. I love it, because it is so much better than anything else I have ever had. I have sewn on a 50 yr old machine until it could not be fix anymore. I bought a very cheap Singer and regretted it instantly. I found this machine used , 6 months old with every accessory. It is a dream to sew on and finally after all these years getting to experiment with Machine quitling!
I have a Pfaff and I love it. I actually fell down the stairs carrying it. My first words once I hit the bottom were…”is my machine ok?” It was!
I’m proud that I own and absolutely love my 2020 Phaff. With its built-in walking foot it is a super workhorse! It’s wonderful!
I have a bernina and I love it
I have several sewing machines, but the one I use regularly is a Pfaff. I have liked it, but an upgrade would be great.
I just “liked” American Quilting on Facebook. I love your store.
I’ts exciting to see that you have a blog. I will put you on my blog roll and wait to see the fun creative items you make and will be available to purchase.
I have a very old singer. It is good for quilting because it is easy to sew a 1/4 inch seam. Sometimes I wish it was a little quieter and easier to sew a perfectly straight seam but it never breaks down.
I just got my first sewing machine for Christmas and I’m so excited to use it once I get over a cold I’m battling. It is a used Bernina activa 130 (its first home was a high school in Utah county) and I love it. I really hope to use it soon!
Love everything about your store, you always have such wonderful ideas. Makes ya want to just sew all day!!
I have a Berninna 1006. I really like it but I wouldn’t mind upgrading.
I have been upgrading over the past year and am now the proud owner of a Viking Ruby embroidery machine. It is still in the box but have a day off tomorrow and plan to start using it. I’m hoping for a lot of classes so I can learn how to use it.
All time fav machine is a Viking QD (without embroidery). It has a built-in walking foot system for smooth sewing and no puckers, even when binding quilts.
Also have several vintage Singers that are eye candy to me for display.
DH gifted me with a Hello Kitty for Christmas . It is a cute 3/4 size (strong sewer) with very nice stitch. I’ll use for class and sew-in fun.
I have a Viking 1+ and I love it! I just inherited a Singer Featherweight made in 1946 that belonged to my grandmother and would love some advise on if and how I should use it for quilting!
I have a Bernina and love it. I would like to upgrade soon. Wouldn’t have any other machine.
I have a Janome 9000 and I love it…but if I won the lottery and didn’t know of anything else to buy, I would love an upgrade:)
I liked you on Facebook too!
My sweet mother in law bought my daughter a Kenmore sewing machine. She was 7 when she started sewing and loves her machine. I just started sewing two years ago and she is really nice to let me use her machine. I really like it and it has been great. I would love to have a Bernina of my own though, or any sewing machine of my own. I am glad my 12 year old will share with me!!! Thanks for the chance to win this darling pattern, I would love to make this!
I have a Bernina 330. I love it compared to the hand me down machine I was using previously.
I have a Pfaff. I love my machine, I have upgraded once and don’t think I will ever change. There is nothing like sewing every day to keep me sane and happy. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have a Janome. It is so easy to use. I love it.
I have a Brother Innovis 2800D and love the machine. It is intuitive to use, with beautiful even stitches and lots of embroidery options.
I have a Janome machine for quilting but I’d like one that’s more advanced/specialized.
I have a Janome- I love it but would LOVE a machine that could do monograms!
Liked you on facebook! (and in your life- love your store!)
I love my 30 year old Bernina that my husband gave me as a wedding gift. Regular service is all that it has ever needed!
I have a Brother and love it!
I have a Bernina 830 and I love it. It is 30 yrs old and has only needed tune-ups.
I have a couple of Brother machines and an industrial machine for work. I have been happy enough with the Brothers, but I notice that most quilters have higher end brands of machines. I’m sure they are terrific. It would be fun to try some of those machines, but I am just as happy to get new feet for my brother so I can do more with what I have. I just love to sew!!! Love your store and patterns.
I have several machines. 🙂 My workhorse for piecing is my Pfaff 2040….love it!!! My fingers are crossed here for this win! Instantly seeing this reminds me of a friend WHO IS SO THIS!!!
I have a very old bernina. I’m saving for a new machine.
I have a Bernina 830 that I received when I graduated from high school in 1973. I have no need for a new machine as I barely know how to work the one I have plus I finally purchased a walking foot for it.
What kind of sewing machine do you have? Husq. Topaz Model 20
And do you love it or wish you could upgrade? It is OK, wanted a different model but it was not in stock. An upgrade would be way too expensive in reality, but in fictional imaginary land, would like a Ruby.
I have been sewing on a very basic Brother for the last 15 years and it has served me well. But I decided it was time for a new sewing relationship & just purchased a Bernina 380 for myself for Christmas. So far I love it!
I like y’all on Facebook…but I like y’all more in real life!
I have a Bernina 930 and absolutely love it.
I have a Pfaff Quilt Expression 2044 and love the dual feed.
I have a Singer that I have used for 13 years and just got a new Brother that a friend recommended but have not used it, yet. I love the Singer but needed a spare 🙂
I have an old Singer that just keeps on ticking and I love it. And I have an old Sears model that I use occasionally that I don’t love so much. I need to upgrade.
I have my moms’ sewing machine, a Singer 401A, I think she bought around 1958. I use it for almost all of my sewing. It is not great for classes so I have a Brother machine. I prefer the Singer and my daughter prefers the Brother. The Singer is a great machine and it reminds me of my mom! I love it!!!
I have a vintage Singer Featherweight that I absolutely love. I have made everything from wedding dresses to slipcovers on it, and it still runs like a charm (I’m 58 and I got it for Christmas when I was 16). Every time I get it serviced, I get offers to buy it because “they don’t make them now like they used to!”
I do want a machine that embroiders and also a serger….someday!
What a great blog
I have a Pfaff and I love that it has a built-in walking foot on it.
