One thing that I love about the internet is all the information it brings right to my fingertips. I am the type of person that needs inspiration to get my creative juices flowing…and the internet REALLY helps with that inspiration.
One place I like to go to sample what is going on in the quilting world is Etsy. I search through all the quilts to see what I like and maybe get some inspiration for my next project. Here is what inspired me this time around:
This quilt was hand-pieced. HAND PIECED. Before I was a quilter I would have looked at this quilt and said “Beautiful” and moved on. Now I know how much time this would have taken.

I love the simplicity of this one and only wish that a white quilt for any of my children would be even remotely practical. Maybe for myself?
